# How to publish dremio data source from Tableau desktop to Tableau server running on a linux ec2 instance?

Currently i have Tableau desktop running on my mac. i have followed the instructions in  
[Dremio:Tableau connector](https://docs.dremio.com/client-applications/tableau-jdbc/) and have placed the .taco file & jar file in the correct folders in the tableau repository.  
Tableau Desktop is working well with datasets in Dremio.

Now i want to publish the workbook to a tableau server running on a linux ec2 instance.  
The documentation only mentions Tableau server on Windows [https://docs.dremio.com/client-applications/tableau-server/](https://docs.dremio.com/client-applications/tableau-server/).

The dremioODBC for linux does not have a DremioConnector.tdc when installed.  
Should a .tdc file be place in Tableau/TableauServer/packages/bin/ folder?  
Kindly help me with this issue.
