# Querying Specific User's Authorized Data using Dremio REST API

I have admin privileges and can access all SPACEs and DATASETs. However, I’m trying to retrieve only the data they are authorized to access using a specific user ID.

To put it simply, I’m seeking a way to preview the return when the specific user executes the same query.

Is there any way to do this? The way to write specific SELECT sql query or use a certain parameter to send API requests is okay.

Any insights, guidance, or examples you could provide would be immensely appreciated.
