# Tag based masking

Hello

Does dremio support Tag based masking? something Like

```auto
WHEN tag() IN ('PII') and is_member('nopii') THEN 'aaaaa@mymail.com'
       ELSE email

```

This is not something Dremio currently supports. We will consider it for a future release. Personally, I see how this could be very useful.

Thanks Kelly for the response. Actually it will be good if we can add a classification against columns and integrate that with user access policy. Like how Ranger policy can be configured with an Atlas policy ih HDP.
