# Unable to connect dremio on localhost of wls

Helllo!

I’m new to Dremio and i’m testing it. I installed the dremio on wsl2 (ubuntu 22.04) and was able to start dremio application, but when i try to connect on localhost of postgres i encoutered a password problem.  
By default my postgres user is andrebmallmann and password is admin.

@alandrebraga Does the Postgres log tell you anything, seems to be incorrect credentials. One way to make sure that the error message is correct is to install psql on the coordinator (Dremio) and connect from there
