I was wondering does Dremio accept contributions on GitHub?
I’ve noticed development does not occur out in the open on the OSS repo on GitHub. It only shows release commits. Which are also a bit behind since the 19.x release isn’t pushed to GitHub. Are PR’s accepted for Dremio? Same about issue reporting w.r.t the community release. Just wondering.
Same wondering here. After reading this contributing note. I figured it out that Dremio is not truly “open”, it is “open source”, but not kind of “open discussion for development”. You discuss with Dremio’s employee in private, and hope your PR to be introduce in next patch without your name in it.
Kind of sad for this type of operation. The product is great, but I really hope Dremio change their development model to truly open source.
