Failed to read parquet footer for file

Hi I have deployed community edition of Dremio and when I am trying to access the dataset from “Samples” provided by deployment and try accessing Samples.“samples.dremio.com”.“NYC-taxi-trips”, it is throwing an exception as mentioned below

ERROR c.d.d.server.GenericExceptionMapper - Unexpected exception when processing POST http://mnipdbprasad1:9047/apiv2/source/Samples/folder_preview/samples.dremio.com/NYC-taxi-trips : java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to read parquet footer for file /samples.dremio.com/NYC-taxi-trips/1_0_0.parquet

@bprasad Please use the V3 API to promote the dataset to a PDS

If that fails too, what happens if you promote via UI?

Hello Balaji, thank you for response. This is to do with the dataset that comes with community edition. I am able to view/ prepare virtual datasets with all other formats except Parquet file (both community edition provided or otherwise). If needed we can get on a quick call to check the error.
