Issue INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS

Hi,
i have an issue wher try to execute the following qwery:
SELECT TABLE_SCHEMA FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS

and i retry the following error:
Selected table has no columns.

Does someone know why it happen?

Is this a new install? if yes which version or an upgrade (what is the from and to version)?
