Query from many files with openquery

Interesting what how M$ is approaching this

21 minutes in - power of open query -

select * from pathToFiles/*parquet.
where city = ‘Mexico’

Maybe a feature worth considering ?

@irnerd In Dremio, you could just promote the dataset and query, would be much faster too if reflected too, you can even cut down a step by enabling auto promote, curious to find if you hit any issues using Dremio?
