Query with non-iso-8859-1 literal in Dremio Cloud fails

Hello,

we’re evaluating Dremio Cloud.

We are trying to run queries with utf-8 literals but we get errors, a minimal example is in the picture.

We saw that Dremio Software can be configured to run them Dremio and we are wondering whether Dremio Cloud can be configured to support them as well.

Hello,

Unfortunately UTF-8 literals are unsupported in Dremio Cloud at this time. Dremio Software supports them from version 15.0.0+
