Refreshing a VDS reflection

I have many reflections on VDS that are based on accelerarated physical datasets.

When I refresh the reflection on the physical dataset (using the “Refresh Now” button), Dremio does not automatically refresh the VDS reflection. I was expecting Dremio would refresh all the depending reflections.

And there is no button on the Virtual Dataset, to refresh its reflections.

Am I missing something in how Dremio is supposed to behave ?

Correct, there is no way to refresh reflections at the VDS level. They get refreshed by virtue of refreshing the reflections at the physical dataset level. Sounds like maybe the refresh at the physical layer isn’t working properly for you for some reason. Would be helpful if you can send us the profile.
