Using Flight in Java - SQL Errors available?

We are using flight to connect to dremio using java. I am sending over SQL and it is working great. However, when there is a error in the SQL (syntax or otherwise) I only get a generic Flight error. Is there any way at all to get a more specific error related to the SQL like you would with a typical JDBC connector?

Major blocker. Anyone have any suggestions? Third party sql validator or something?
