Where can I find the licensing details for the Dremio Community Edition build using the docker file here ? Is it licensed under Apache 2.0, similar to Dremio OSS, as specified in the Dremio OSS repository?
I can see that the docker file downloads the build from this url.
@balaji.ramaswamy : Could you please take a look in to this question ?
Hi @irshad-pai,
The link you referenced says on the 4th line: “Licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0”. Is that sufficient to clarify this?

@bogdan.coman : I don’t think so. That link is the dremio-cloud-tools repository which has few docker files and helm chart only. If you look at that docker file the core dremio community image is getting downloaded from this url. For which the licensing details is not found as the source code is not available or yet to be released in dremio-oss.
Hi @irshad-pai,
If you look at that docker file the core dremio community image is getting downloaded from this url.
I downloaded that, then opened dremio-community-3.0.1-201811132128360291-804fe82/licenses/LICENSE – which reads “Apache License v2.0”.
For which the licensing details is not found as the source code is not available or yet to be released in dremio-oss.
On that github page, on the right hand side, it states that it operates under the Apache-2.0 license.
