MacOS installer doesn't run because of "unidentified developer" warning

Downloaded mac dmg, failed to run.

Thanks for reporting. We are in the process of signing our Mac installers and they should be available very soon on the download website. Meanwhile, you can right-click on DremioODBC.pkg, choose Open, and click Open again to confirm.

Thanks Laurent! Decided to just download the tar instead. Any particular benefits of using the Mac installer?

The Dremio application for MacOS features a small application to help you start the Dremio server, open the browser to access the user interface, and check the logs, all of it from the comfort of your Applications folder.

People who prefer to use the tarball need to open the Terminal app to start/stop the Dremio server.
