Dremio had been starting up fine. Some configuration changes were made through Ambari and after that the dremio service would not start up. The log keeps showing this error:
[main] INFO c.d.s.c.TaskLeaderStatusListener - Waiting for TaskLeader for MASTER
At a loss as to what this may be or how to fix it
Hi Rohit, did you change anything related to Zookeeper?
Can you attach server.log and server.out from the stalled startup here?
Is this a coordinator or an executor?

Okay, so this is really embarrassing. I went to pull over the logs from the coordinator node to share with you. Before sending them I looked for the error in the log. But I
did not find it. I found out that the errors were in the log of the executor node. It seems I was on the executor node when I started the Dremio service. That is why I was having the problem. I exited that node back to the coordinator node and started
Dremio. Lo and behold everything started up just fine. Really sorry for that! But my problem is resolved.
