How does one clear out a virtual data source that Dremio has lost track of…at least this is the scenario I believe is occurring

You can run some SQL as described here. The SQL would look something like this:
DROP VDS "POC Space".Consumer_Complaints
Hopefully that helps!
Doron, I actually cleared problem by bouncing Dremio, but will keep this tip handy as it is far better than my sledgehammer approach. Thanks for your advice!
