Queries slow while reflections refresh

It seems that queries that match a reflection which is currently refreshing don’t use the previous reflection data.

Is that correct? Is there a way to change this behaviour?

We have some reflections that take a long time to refresh, and it’s not great that queries during that time are slow.

We’re using Dremio EE 25.2.20.

@RasmusW It is a change in logic to go back to the PDS to avoid stale data. Let me test on it and get back to you. In the mean time can I get the below 2 profiles

  • REFRESH REFLECTION job profile that is taking long (want to see if we can tune it)
  • THe SQL profile that does not use the reflection
