Release versions / lifecycle community version

I’m trying to understand the logic on minor/major version upgrades of dremio community-server.

Is it best practice to always install the latest version of the community version? Or are there “stable” releases that will receive bugfixes for a longer time?
Or perhaps the .0.0 versions are not yet thoroughly tested?

From the commits on github, it doesn’t look like a lot happens between releases of major versions?

@Nils.Cant The dot releases address specific bugs, the major ones are more feature releases. It would be good if you are at the most one major release behind
