Shutting down Dremio on Azure overnight

Hi,
I am facing sizable resource bills from Azure relative to my use of Dremio on Azure. Since my team is small, I’d like to automatically turn off Dremio in periods when it is unused (e.g. nights, weekends).

When I’ve turned off and on the coordinator and scaleset of executors automatically deployed from Azure Marketplace, I get a No Machine Available type error upon restarting the coordinator and executors. I cannot find any errors in server.log or server.out.

Is there a good way to successfully turn Dremio off any night?

Thanks,

Eric

Where do you see “No Machine Available type error”, Wondering if the error message is in the Azure logs? The auto stop feature is currently only in the AWS edition, are you using the below one?
