The user/group security and permission framework is supposed to be available in the default version of Dremio?
In my Admin section I can’t see the menus for managing user permissions (sharing?) specified in https://docs.dremio.com/security/sharing-and-permissions.html

Hi Alex,
In Community Edition there is a single role, Admin.
In Enterprise Edition there are multiple roles whose authorization controls can be based on specifying permissions in Dremio or via LDAP.
Does that answer your question?
I think it would be useful if the online documentation for “Security” mentioned that this was an Enterprise only feature, I spent a bit of time trying to find these settings before coming across this thread. The edition comparison page only mentions “role based authentication” as an Enterprise feature and it’s not clear that this means there is no “User” role in the community edition and therefore no way to share or set permissions.
