I have the dremio setup in the machine and now I want to transfer all the data from dremio VM to my container. In this case how backup and restore the data? Are there any efficient way?
You can use the Dremio backup/restore utility, you can also shutdown the coordinator and take a copy of the db folder to the new machine and start it up. For backup/restore both source and target versions needs to be same. For “db” folder copy, if target is higher version (cannot be lower), after copy is done, you have to so a “dremio-admin upgrade”
