Are there any plans to support REST catalogs in the OSS version?
I tried starting the container with plugins.restcatalog.enabled=true, but it didn’t seem to have any effect.
Is a new OSS release planned in the near future? If so, will it include support for REST catalogs? Supporting open-source catalog implementations such as Polaris would be a great addition.
Typical greedy company. They release something great as open-source, and once it gains attraction and fame, they switch to a paid model. It’s like they completely forgot who gave them their start in the first place**.** They move all the cool features behind an enterprise paywall and leave the open-source version to rot.
