Not able to connect azure sql server from Dremio

Hi Team,

We are not able add azure sql server as external datasource in dremio. We have opened all the firewall access (azure sqlserver end) to connect to azure sql server but its throwing error and not able to connect from dremio.

Please help . Let us know if we need to open in firewall from dremio server end to connect to azure sql server.

@sunil_patra Are you able to provide the server.log from the coordinator? It will tell us why you are unable to connect. Dremio only supports MS-SQL so it could be possible some packages it uses to get SQL server metadata may not be present on Azure SQL

Thank you Balaji . We got this issue resolved after opening the firewall for Dremio → Azure SQL DB.
