Looking at the code in the oss repository, i found TRUNCATE and INSERT INTO statement implementations. Trying to emit them in community edition told me :
“Please contact customer support for steps to enable the iceberg tables feature”.
Is it available in the community edition ?
If so, how can I enable it ?
If one day we can emit DML SQL statements in dremio, there is an highway to change data capture, snapshoting and incremental datasets !

Full Iceberg and Delta Lake support should be coming in an upcoming release later this year.

Initially our focus is S3, ADLS, S3-compatible stores, and HDFS.
NFS is an old protocol with many options, and while there are ways in which to make it work well (consistency etc.), it’s not uncommon to see issues there.
