@YapNe yes this is one of our top priorities in terms of source support. We’re considering various options to enable this as a part of our roadmap this year.

Hey @spencerogden. Our thinking on this has shifted a bit since the last comment here. You’ll most likely see us release a generic source SDK before going down the path of a “REST connector”. We’ll keep you posted on any timeline updates.

HI @spencerogden, could you please elaborate on the aim with the generic source SDK? Would that be to enable OS community to use as a base for custom development?

That’s right - so you could implement your own connector. We do not yet have this SDK scheduled, however.

Any update on this please? To make Dremio successful, it needs to support more data sources relational, nosql and web. It has been more than a year since I posted the original question and I’m surprised it still not available! Keen to hear what is the plan?
