When declaring external reflection (Dremio), the reflection does not appear in UI control panel section.
Also it does not appear in source_dataset_path, reflection tab.
Is it normal ? for me it is a lack that can create inconsistence.
Yes, that’s normal. However, you can query them through sys.reflections.
We use delegation in Dremio EE, and my account is not an admin so I can’t query Sys.reflections.
Also, though I got privilege to manage reflections through control panel, I truly consider this UI for reflection should display external reflection as the information is un Sys.reflection table.
I can’t agree with you more. I logged an internal enhancement request for exposing external reflections in the reflection summary UI.
