Hive 3.1.0 transactional table support

Hi team,

We installed Dremio 3.0.1 in our HDP 3.1 cluster.
We observed that hive transactional tables are only partially supported: for now it seems that, to see hive contents from Dremio, a major compaction is required after any update to Hive data

Could you tell us if a full support is expected in the next versions of Dremio?

Yes currently that is the way it works. When you say “full support”, what is it exactly you are looking for?

For “full support” I simply mean Dremio capability of accesing hive updated data without major compaction.
