How can I add a new MySQL connection w/a pem file for authentication?
My current process is to use the Dremio GUI, click Add Source, MySQL, and that’s where I stop.
[edit] Typically, a SQL client will have advanced settings to connect via SSL and specify a cert. Nearly all ssh clients have this, most SQL clients, and I’m unsure about dremio.
This is not currently available in Dremio today but rest assured is something we are considering for our future roadmap. Today we will require a user/pass - https://docs.dremio.com/data-sources/mysql.html
How about in September 2020?
Our RDBMS sources require username/password
This is currently not in the near term roadmap, however, I will pass this information along to product management
