MySQL error: "Failure while configuring source"

I have existing tables in MySQL workbench and I am trying to connect that source through Dremio. However, when I try to ass the new source with the correct host, port, username, and password. I get an error: “Failure while configuring source…”. I have disabled SSL on MySQL workbench so there is not security barrier there. Does anyone know how I can get this fixed?

I see the username/password is empty. I assume you entered them and then tried to save?

Yes, I’ve entered those in and tried to save but I still get the same error.

The error seems to be coming from the back end, kindly check the below forum
