Dremio environment resets after restarting docker container

We are running a community edition of Dremio using docker to test the ElasticContainers. It appears to be working fine until we restart the docker container.

Everything that we configured in the previous session (e.g. users) gets ‘factory reset’.

Is there anyway we can stop this from happening? Not sure if I am missing anything obvious

In docker world that is how things work. Everything you do is within the container and once you shut it down it is deleted
