Failure while configuring source

I’m trying to open up Tableau to view the data in Dremio but when Tableau opens, it asks me to connect using the Dremio ODBC connection, and when I try to configure this, I get a message that says:

An error occurred while communicating with Other Databases (ODBC).

The connection to the data source might have been lost.
[Dremio][Connector] (20) Failure occurred while trying to connect to local=localhost:3306. (Details: [30004]Connection failed with error: Cannot decode handshake.)
Generic ODBC requires additional configuration. The driver and DSN (data source name) must be installed and configured to match the connection.
Unable to connect using the DSN named “Dremio Connector”. Check that the DSN exists and is a valid connection.

What should I use for the connection attributes? I’m running Dremio locally on my laptop.

thanks,
Nate

Were you able to download our drivers and follow the setup instructions?
https://docs.dremio.com/drivers/dremio-odbc-driver.html
https://docs.dremio.com/drivers/dremio-connector.html
https://docs.dremio.com/drivers/mac-odbc.html

I have the same issue.
I’ve installed the driver, and it works when I use tableau desktop.
When I publish the same working document to Tableau server, and try to open it, I enter my user/pass for dremio enterprise and it’s unable to connect → same issue → “Unable to connect using the DSN named “Dremio Connector”. Check that the DSN exists and is a valid connection.”
